Plastic canvas mesh is categorized by the number of stitches per inch, referred to as the mesh size. The mesh count is number of holes per inch. The larger the mesh count the smaller the hole. The sizes are 5 mesh count, 7 mesh count, 10 mesh count, and 14-mesh count, and the canvas can either be clear plastic or a rainbow of colors.
