Its works similar to a ballpoint pen which has a tiny ball that dispenses the ink. Some people will use these paints with a brush. Aunt martha's ballpoint paint tubes dries permanent, oil based and is machine washable & dry cleanable. Use on apparel, fabric, paper, wood, pottery, metal, plastic, glass, and more. With metal, wood, glass and plastic you will need to apply a coat of shellac to ensure the paint stays. Wait 48 hours before dry cleaning.
